I paint from the inside out. I’m compelled to tell a story using color as my expression. My hope is that it speaks to you too, so tell me what you think.
I have spent many years in love with dreamy things like color, beauty, and the way the past becomes softened over time and gets fuzzy edges. Because of this, I have always tried to create from the inside out.
I need color and aesthetics; I need to investigate the the feelings that emerge when I look at metaphors and memories. I paint to create healing and wholeness — to tell a story and have it resonate.
My desire is to express what I feel, using acrylic on canvas, in the hope that someone else can feel the same wholeness or sense that they are not alone.
If you feel compelled, let me know how and why one of my paintings has moved you by leaving a comment below.
